Former Barcelona defender Dani Alves has hailed his former club’s transfer businesses and has tipped them to emerge as the winners of the UEFA Champions League title next season. The Spanish La Liga giants have been busy in the summer transfer window even before it officially opened and while they have completed a couple of transfers already, they are still on the lookout for more possible signings while also very close to completing the signing of free agent Memphis Depay.
Memphis Depay is reportedly almost a Barcelona player after the player agreed on personal terms with the club but they still have to wait for him to officially sign the contract – something that should be done once the player finishes his business at the Euros.
Alves has said that he has been monitoring the activities and developments at the club in recent times and has heaped praise on how the club have been able to convince captain Lionel Messi to commit his future to the club, as well as how they have managed to draw top players. The former Barca right-back added that if Koeman can utilize the players as he expects him to, they could win the Champions League next year.
