BARCELONA VS LEVANTE: PREDICTED BARCA LINEUP

On Sunday night, Barcelona welcome Levante to the Camp Nou in a match that they must win if they want to be anywhere near the top 4 by the end of the day. They will be looking to snap up all three points and bounce back from the home defeat to a Cristiano Ronaldo-led Juventus in the UEFA Champions League in midweek.

Ronald Koeman’s men suffered two consecutive defeats both in the league against Cadiz and in Europe against Andrea Pirlo’s Juve. Koeman will then be looking forward to clinching a win at the weekend in a bid to lift the spirits in the dressing room.

The coach is expected to field a much stronger side for this encounter, and will most likely utilize the 4-3-3 formation, inviting Philippe Coutinho and Spanish midfielder Sergio Busquets back to the lineup.

Barcelona are currently e during an unlikely season this campaign and are having their worst start since over two decades under Koeman. The former Southampton manager is under intense pressure at the Catalan giants and should he fail to deliver a win after Sunday’s tie, more questions will be raised about his future at the club.

Barca’s star player Lionel Messi has also been a shadow of himself this current campaign and has not performed up to his recognized best so far. He almost left the club last summer after publicly stating that he was tired of being at the club. Many believe he is currently playing with his headset somewhere else, but for his form, he may well want to start a turnaround starting from this weekend.

Predicted Barca Lineup versus Levante:

Goalkeeper: Marc-Andre Stegen

Defenders: Samuel Umtiti, Oscar Mingueza, SergiñoDest, Jordi Alba

Midfielders: Frenkie de Jong, Philippe Coutinho, Sergio Busquets

Attackers: Antoine Griezmann, Lionel Messi, Martin Braithwaite
