The Ajax midfielder Christian Eriksen has ruled out the possibility of joining a Premier league club during the January transfer window by saying that he still has to weigh up his transfer options. The 20-year-old playmaker has been one of the sought-after players in European football, with many tipping him for an extraordinary bright future. He has been linked with several Premier league clubs like Chelsea, Manchester United, and Manchester City over the past few seasons. He feels that he is still young and can stay at Ajax for a few more time before moving to a big club.
Despite being only 20 years of age, he has already made close to 150 appearances for the Ajax team. Ajax has secured its first victory in the new season by defeating NEC Nijmegen by a huge margin of 6-1. The Ajax players were in destructive mood and they just demolished the Nijmegen team. Ajax didna��t manage to win its opening match of the season and the team had to play a draw against AZ Alkmaar. But, the team is back on track with this dominating performance. He put the ball into the goal post with a powerful shot from a distance of 25 yards. Babos dived to stop the ball, but, he failed in doing so. With that goal, Ajax got ahead by 4-0. There were no more goals in the first half.

After the fifth goal, the game was almost decided and there were only formalities left in the game.
